My home was built in 1778 and when I purchased it in 2001
it needed a new roof and a builder owned it. The builder
had bought the house and cropped off a lot that used to be
a field. He built a big Colonial on the new lot and was in the
process of "renovating" my house. I didn't like anything he was
doing to the house so I put my offer in wanting to buy the house
"as is". When I got the house, beside needing a roof, it needed a
kitchen sink, appliances, toilets & finish electric and a whole
bunch of other stuff. But I loved how warm and cozy it felt
when I walked into it, it felt like
"this was where I was meant to be".
