Screen Porch

My house has an awesome screened in porch that was one of the many reasons why I bought this house.  I love sitting on the porch in the mornings and also at night. 

In the past year the porch seemed to be a collection depot for the overflow of the barn items that would not fit in the Barn Shoppe!  So needless to say I don’t think we sat on the porch at all last year, we were actually lucky if there was a path we could walk thru to get to the door!!

 





























So, I decided that this year my porch was done being a catch all and it was going back to the way it used to be!  Clean and usable!!

Well, it is halfway there!  This is the front half and I will post photos of the rest of it when it’s finished.  The other side has a table and chairs.

I still want to white wash the shingles and tweak the eating area.  I have the original shutters that were hanging on the windows that I am going to paint and re-hang.

I also have a fireplace inset sitting in the corner that needs painting and a few other special surprises to show you.  So stayed turned…
