Catch you up….

Well, since my last post a lot of things have happen around here! First of all we added a new member to the family, and she is the cutest little girl!  Her name is Sophie, which was changed from Beatrice as no one liked my choice, sorry Grandma!  She is just 4 months old!  She has been really good as puppies go.  She sleeps in her crate all night without a peep and doesn't use it for a toilet which is the best! 

We celebrated Michael’s birthday Saturday the 22nd by going to eat lunch at a restaurant that gives the birthday boy a free lunch and a sweet chocolate pudding with crushed cookie’s and whipped cream.  As you can see, he enjoyed every bite and is still such a child!  I guess that's why I love him so much!! 

We also had a baby shower to go to, but we just couldn’t fit it in because we also had a wedding to go to. One of my daughters best friends wedding,  Christine was the most beautiful Bride with her Prince Charming husband Jeff.   We had a great time at the wedding dancing and hanging out!

Earlier in the week Mackenzie and I had eye appointments.  Oh those were not so good.  I had laser eye surgery about 8-9 years ago so I could stop wearing my glasses, which was truly a wonderful experience.  Not needing contacts or glasses has been wonderful.  I had to get glasses when I was in 3rd grade and was pretty blind, so getting the laser surgery was great, but like anything else it doesn’t last forever,  so I am now in need of reading glasses and distance glasses.  I opted to get 2 pairs as I didn’t want to get used to using bifocals!  Poor Mackenzie also has to have glasses!  She has not only gotten our front teeth, that’s another post someday, but she has also inherited our bad eyes!  So poor girl is going in 3rd grade and has to wear glasses so she can see the board!  Well, this has been a busy week and will just get worse as the days go by with school starting soon and my mother coming to visit.  Hope your summers end is going great and you are making lots of fun memories.

Sometimes I think Maxine should run for president. She was right on with this one!
Everyone concentrates on the problems we're having in this country lately: illegal immigration, hurricane recovery, alligators attacking people in Florida ...
Not me. I concentrate on solutions for the problems. It's a win-win situation.

They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq ....... Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this: You cannot post 'Thou Shalt Not Steal,' 'Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery,' and 'Thou Shalt Not Lie' in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians...It creates a hostile work environment.

Jillian Violet Jean is 2 Today!

Jillian is two today,
actually she will be two at 5:58p.m today!
She is my 2nd daughters, second daughter!
And if you have had the pleasure of her company you
would love her right away...

She has the best personality and is such a ham. She loves everyone
and has no problem telling you, and her hugs and kisses are the best!

She loves Mike and her cousin Mackenzie......

and her daddy.....

and especially her mommy..... Thanks mommy for having another
awesome baby girl to share with us......
Her sissy loves her so much and helps to take care of her....
Her cousin is like having another sister around and she
loves all the attention she gets from the both of them.....
She was such a chubba baby.....
and makes the cutest faces then & now.....
And loves to have her picture taken anytime she sees a camera....
she loves to make a mess while eating.....
And she couldn't look anymore like her daddy if she tried....
She is such a blessing to have with us.....
She brightens your day just to look at her....

I have been so blessed to have 3 such gorgeous granddaughters
in my life to love, hug, and enjoy!

Sunday Family Bike Ride

We finally actually went on a bike ride today!
It was the best weather for itI love these white flowers, they remind me of snowflakes
This is a nest of Osprey that are here every year, momma was feeding her babies

The nest is huge!
Then we saw a flock of geese on the trail and they went into the water before we got too close...

“My Story In Photos: The Summer Edition”

We haven’t gone away this summer really but we have done a lot of things so far.  Lil Mack had her first dance recital….

Jilly Bug Bug & I hung out in the hammock before it finally fell apart from being outside all year long for the past 4 years!

Jilly Bug Bug also enjoyed some luscious fresh cherries….

She also LOVES yogurt……

Scituate Harbor was a gorgeous site….
